Test of Proficiency in Korean Score of 5 (2015) OPIc score of Intermediate high (2015) Cumulative 2 and 1/2 years spent abroad in South Korea, most recently this past summer where I studied at Sogang University. As of my sophomore year I have completed all available levels of Korean offered at UMN and spent 1 semester working as a tutor for beginning students. I feel that my experiences as a learner of the language is helpful for others beginning to learn as well.

I am deeply interested in Korea's modern history, literature, and film, as well as North Korea. I like to practice my Korean by reading novels and non-fiction in Korean.
